I have bet on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of funds at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the casino.

I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this method or defeat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a few weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar wager

Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager

Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
