I have bet on millions of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet

Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first $40 bet

Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
