Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you build up your bank roll, you feel as though you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom falls.
black jack is so remarkably like a wild ride the similarities are alarming. As is the case with the popular amusement park ride, your black jack game will peak and things will be going great for a while before it bottoms out yet again. You have to be a gambler who is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game because the game of black jack is choked full with them.
If you like the petite coaster, one that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride is with a larger wager, then hop aboard for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high rolling gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because they are not thinking on the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you do not, you might not naturally recount how much you enjoyed the good life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a thrilling ride … your head in the stratosphere. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t clearly recount how "high up" you went but you will have memories of that disappointing drop as clear as day.
