I have wagered on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80

Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 bet

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
