I have gambled on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You have to comprehend that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager

Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
